Bassline Agent
Listens to your chord track (or a dropped .mid) and writes a bassline over it. Ten bass sounds, from SUB and 808 to REESE and UPRIGHT.

Listens to the same chords and writes a melody on top. Ten lead sounds, from SOFT LEAD and PLUCK to BELL and VOX.

Bass and melody tracks
Add two MIDI tracks with Bassline Agent and Melody Agent. On each, set MIDI From to the Chord Agent 2 track (Chord Agent 2 in the second dropdown) and Monitor to In.

FOLLOW, then GENERATE
Turn on FOLLOW in both agents and press play: they pick up the chords. Type a vibe in each and hit GENERATE.

Change the chords
Refine or regenerate in Chord Agent 2: on the next pass, the bassline and melody re-fit instantly. Drag each part's MIDI into a clip when it's right.

Bassline Agent and Melody Agent link straight to Chord Agent 2: pick LINK · Chord Agent 2 under SOURCE and they follow its progression live and exactly, through generate, refine, transpose and history. Chord Agent 2's DRAG MIDI files carry the exact chords too. The agents still listen to any chord track and read any .mid you drop on them.

How do I install the three agents?
The download page has one installer for all three (Mac and Windows), and an installer for each if you'd rather pick: Chord Agent 2, Bassline Agent and Melody Agent. Install all three and paste the same key into each one's LICENSE card. One computer counts once, whichever agents you activate on it.
I already have Chord Agent 2. Should I buy the bundle?
No: add Bassline + Melody to your existing key for $29/yr. Your key and your Chord Agent 2 stay exactly as they are.
Can the agents link to each other directly?
Yes, with Agent Link in Chord Agent 2.1: Bassline Agent and Melody Agent each pick LINK · Chord Agent 2 under SOURCE and follow its progression live and exactly. They can also listen to Chord Agent 2's MIDI output with LISTEN or FOLLOW, or read a .mid you drop on them.
How many computers?
Two at a time per licence, for all three agents together.
